PRAYER REQUEST: Tragic Accident

For everyone who reads this, please pray for the Dibble family. They a homeschooling family living in NY State, and as of yesterday, they lost a son, Elijah, 11. He was biking and got into a car accident. A couple more details are in the link below. Something however that is not mentioned is that Mrs. Dibble went in the labor yesterday as well. I can’t imagine what this family is going through right now, especially with having a child so close to if not on the same day as losing one. Please keep them in prayer.

And please pass the torch! This family needs our prayers.

Sincerely,

Daniel E. J. Bloedow

Accident Details

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 — 3Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort, 4Which comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any affliction by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Psalm 34:17-22 — 17The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth them, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18The Lord is near unto them that are of a contrite heart, and will save such as be afflicted in spirit.
19Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21But malice shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous, shall perish.
22The Lord redeemeth the souls of his servants: and none that trust in him, shall perish.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 — 1To all things there is an appointed time, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
2A time to be born, and a time to die: a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
3A time to slay, and a time to heal: a time to break down, and a time to build.
4A time to weep, and a time to laugh: a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones: a time to embrace, and a time to be far from embracing.
6A time to seek, and a time to lose: a time to keep, and a time to cast away.
7A time to rent, and a time to sow: a time to keep silence, and a time to speak.
8A time to love, and a time to hate: a time of war, and a time of peace.

Matthew 5:1-9 — 1And when he saw the multitude, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came to him. 2And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 3Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6Blessed are they which hunger and thirst for righteousness: for they shall be filled. 7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
